Taylor Selby co-founded Earth Care International, a Santa Fe non-profit organization. He has been teaching people about sustainability since 2001. Since residing in Santa Fe, he has been involved with many projects such as:

Taylor walks the talk of sustainability. He lives in Santa Fe County on two acres near the Santa Fe River with his wife Christina and their son Clayton. They live in small community of like minded people. Taylor has implemented many sustainable and permaculture practices on his property, such as water harvesting, organic gardens, native fruit trees and shrubs, summer shading vines, recycled grey water for vegetation, swales, gabions, French drains, and much more. He will be installing Solar PV, Solar Thermal and a greenhouse shortly.

Taylor has been an active member of the Mayor appointed Sustainable Santa Fe Commission since 2004. As a Commissioner, he participated in the creation of the Sustainable Santa Fe Plan, unanimously adopted by the City Council in 2008.
